T2i SD Cards Not Working

I just bought 3 new Kingston 32gb SD cards for my t2i and none of them are working for video. One begins to record and after about 4 seconds of recording stops and says "Movie recording has stopped automatically", something that should only happen after 10 minutes of recording. The others have the red 00:00 next to the resolution and frame rate display not allowing any recording whatsoever. I have had these same cards before with no problems but these new cards are giving me trouble. Do they need to be reformatted in some way? Any help on this would be great. Thanks.

Being a former Sony user, I had assumed that one SD card was pretty much as good as another. I did not realize until recently that there were different grades and classes. At least now I know what to look out for.
