eric sumner
I have read on here about the diy video assist, but nobody really said exactly what is needed to do it. I would hate to buy a bunch of stuff that doesn't work and waste money, so I guess what I'm asking is could someone tell me exactly what to get for a video assist to work on a bolex EBM. thanks

Gerald Moore
WOW Fantastic. Are you able to do precision focusing?
Jean-Louis Seguin
WOW Fantastic. Are you able to do precision focusing? The H8 Reflex viewfinder image being much less magnified than the EBM, you will likely need a wider focal length lens to completely fill the monitor screen, probably either 10mm, 9mm or 8mm. Cheers, Jean-Louis
eric sumner
did they have to build the adapter for you or did they have it in stock already made.
Todd Pinder
That camera is not mine. I just remember saving the image for reference. But the description did say custom! http://www.srb-griturn.com/for-compact-digital-cameras--camcorders-with-filter-or-body-mounting-threads-361-p.asp
Premium Member Robert Ditto Posted May 30, 2011 Premium Member Share Posted May 30, 2011 DU-CAMERA offers a kit that is very similar to the one pictured above. My broths and I are currently working on a video assist kit which will allow operators to use the eye piece as well as have video assist like Arri cameras do. Robert M.
