A montage of movies with the cliche dialogue phrase, "You just don't get it, do you?" I know this guy was pretty thorough looking through stuff because near the end at the 6:20 mark is a scene from a no-budget vampire movie I shot nearly a decade ago!

 

Odd thing is that all the examples are from modern movies, I wonder how many classic movies used the phrase.

Certainly not as annoying as a hackneyed dialogue phrase, but this sound effect has been used countless times:

 

 

That compilation only uses relatively recent films, it was first recorded back in 1951. I have to admit it's a pretty classic scream. Here's it's history:
