Kevin Piterson
I need some ideas about camera (HD) for low budget film making. I have great story which never written before, based on true story (70% true) & I want to have good camera because I am going use gurriela film making techniques. So which camera should be the best for me. I am newbie here.
Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted June 13, 2011 Premium Member Share Posted June 13, 2011 Might be best to hire a DoP and sit with him/her and the script, figure out locations/shots/look and then pick a camera which fits within that rubric. No one camera is a "fit all" for all productions, and even on one film you may use multiple cameras for special shots (e.g. Black swan using 7D for subway scenes to intermix with S16mm). Also "guerrilla" film making can mean anything anymore, so you really need to bring in your key people and work out your plans well before even thinking "which camera." Answer, "what feeling," first ;)
