Final Cut X - A professional perspective

I have seen this before, while it is funny, I think Final Cut X may eventually lead to something pretty good and new-age. At the moment it is perhaps only capable of handling edits straight to a mov export or the web and that seems like really it. But when extra material that can allow EDL, OMF, XML addons be implemented, it could start to get pretty good.

Plus I think this new model of stripping down the software is Apple's way of letting anyone be capable of producing plugins, we could start to see some very useful things come out. While I think it is dodgy and a little forceful to make you pay for more, it could also be very effective in the sense you get what you pay for.
