Premium Member Will Montgomery Posted July 11, 2011 Premium Member Share Posted July 11, 2011 Has anyone had luck with a mini-fridge not dripping condensation on their film? Need something to store film and the last two little college dorm type fridges I've used seem to result in puddles of water in the bottom whereas I must come up with ingenious ideas on how to keep the film off the bottom of the fridge. I think it has to do with the little freezer sections these tend to have that periodically freeze and melt. Any help would be appreciated.
Premium Member Charles MacDonald Posted July 11, 2011 Premium Member Share Posted July 11, 2011 My old beer and film fridge has this problem from the auto defrost, and the easiest way out is to stick each package of film in a zip bag. The ones from the local dollar store at 6 for a dollar will hold a 16mm -400ft can. They have a zipper pull to open and close. That approach also gives an extra level of humidity protection.
