Duncan Trevithick
I'm looking for a way to create a bright, realistic muzzle flash inside a house which will be seen from outside. I was considering using several wireless photo strobes firing at the same time but I'm not sure if the camera will capture that in one frame. I'll be shooting on an Arriflex 16 SRII. Can anyone recommend a better way to do this? Thanks. Edited October 10, 2011 by Duncan Trevithick
Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted October 10, 2011 Premium Member Share Posted October 10, 2011 You could do it by simply having a very bright light on in the room with someone covering up the front (or getting shutters) with a solid and popping it off for each shot quickly. Chris Millar
Make a shutter ... Big bit of opaque whatever, cut a slit in it, hold board with slit above light, drop it no light, light, no light open slit for brighter+longer cut another slit very nearby for longer but not so brighter two slits for two flashes etc... just like a focal plane shutter in a camera
