The release Lightworks V 12.5 is now available for download..

Of interest are packages involving Boris FX and/or Graffiti comimg free with an outright purchase or a one year subscription of Lightworks purchased AT THE FULL PRICE. Details are here: Boris FX

New V 12.5 features are listed here, key being 4k being available over a greater range of codecs: New in v12.5

Lightworks still comes in two versions, the Free and Pro Versions. The former might suit indie feature film makers on extremely low budgets, because you can take out a one month license for the export of your completed film..

Lightworks have announced a branded version of the Contour Shuttle Pro https://twitter.com/ESLightworks/status/670283714442719234/photo/1

I did some testing with one on Lightworks and it's pretty effective at creating an analogue audio scrub. It's a lower cost option to the Lightworks console, although with fewer buttons. Lightworks: The professional editor for everyone
