When shooting negative, I usually open up about 1/2 of a stop beyond the meter reading. It gives you more room for error so that you can adjust the exposure in post if needed. A word about the Scoopic: Having used that camera I know it has an internal light meter. DO NOT RELY ON THAT READING ALONE.
