Ben Ivy
During my time at the Art Institute, I wrote and directed two short films. I would most definitely like to submit into film festivals, because I truly deem them the shorts worthy of some recognition - not to mention my crew and I worked our butts off! I'd like to find out more about the submission process for this. If anyone has info on it ( websites, other forums, etc.), I'd truly appreciate the feedback. Thank you kindly! -Ben Ivy ;)

Arturo Sinclair
Thanks for the quick response, Bill. I shall look into it asap. Try http://en.movibeta.com/ You can upload your film once (plus all the additional data, bios, poster etc.) and many festivals will be able to access it directly without you having to submit individual copies. If you are accepted you might then be required to submit an HD file. I have used it with good results, many festivals prefer this method of submission. Kimberley Browning
You should also make sure to use the submission platforms http://www.reelport.com http://www.shortfilmdepot.com , and http://www.shortfilmcentral.com - they are essential for international entries. there is a new one called http://www.festhome.com that is starting to gain some steam as well. I work as a film festival strategist, working with filmmakers to navigate the film festival process - you are welcome to visit my website at www.hollywoodshorts.com for more info... Hope that helps!
