This is the clip, right here, and the "accessory" in question can be seen at 07:35, 08:40 - 08:44. http://www.cinemagia...r/skyfall-8220/ Thank in advance for everyones` input on the subject. Guest Stephen Murphy
That's a Libra stabilized head. It's overslung on an arm instead of underslung which is how you'd usually see it used on crane arms/wire rigs etc.
bogdanovici barbu
Thanks for clearing that out for me, Stephen. Appreciate it!!
J Costantini
But somehow it looks like it's shaking the camera on purpose instead of stabilizing it! Sort of an in camera effect for action?
Sanjay Sami
It always looks that way, because the body of the head is mounted via a wire spring plate. This shakes the head (but does not jar it ) but the camera stays very stable. If you look at the head while the shot is in progress, it seems like its all over the place, but video playback is stable.
Nicolas Gomez
Love the cinematography of skyfall.. I guess its intentionally shaky for action purposes! www.elsotano.com.co/videos.php
