Berry Spinx
I'm aware of where the lights are but am wondering what kind of fixtures, rigs, diffusion, flags you would use to light this. I'm aiming to shoot the same thing inside a house and my main concern is what they used for that large top light.
Berry Spinx
Also how did they achieve that vignette on the wall?
Brian Drysdale
You'll see the clues in the lights being reflected in the balloons. There's a soft top light for a start, they may have flagged off light hitting the back wall, although a very small part of the wall lighting is from the practical table lamp. . Berry Spinx
What light and diffusion would you use though?? I am thinking of rigging up a grid with cat poles.
Brian Drysdale
I suspect your problem is they could've been shooting in a studio, so they had the height for what looks like a diffusion frame or similar on the top light. Locations often have have limited headroom.
