Robert Weaver
I was thinking about buying a CP16 camera but an ex cinematographer friend told me that it had a mono (black and white) viewfinder. Is this true? I had assumed that the viewfinder attached to the lens on the 16A and the built in viewfinder on the 16R would allow you to see the image in colour. Brian Drysdale
The CP16 is like any other film camera, the viewfinder is colour as you would normally see, just displayed on a ground glass,. Unless he was talking about the video assist that sounds rather like one of those go get me a sky hook stories.
Robert Weaver
Thanks. That's what I thought. The only mono viewfinders I have ever seen were on older video cameras.
