Brian Drysdale
OK, yes, I recall weave being an issue mentioned about SRs by a 1st AC. I suspect 99% of viewers won't notice, especially when you don't have the gate reference. Edited April 1, 2014 by Brian Drysdale
Kalle Folke
OK, yes, I recall weave being an issue mentioned about SRs by a 1st AC. I suspect 99% of viewers won't notice, especially when you don't have the gate reference. After shooting more I'm sure I get more feeling for the limits of the camera. Like if it's always more unsteady at the end of a roll I'll try to keep that in mind when planning the shot. Also I just tried Warp stabilizer in Premiere CC on the most unsteady part and it worked really well. Seems like I'll be able to live with this, just nice to learn what's causing it and hear what you forum members think. Warp stabilizer is actually quite amazing, I've done whole shoots that's supposed to have a "locked down" feeling without a tripod (because of traveling light and hectic schedule) and then uses WS in post and results was perfect.
