I saw many times DOP's attaching high res CCD camera to the viewfinder on vintage film camera. I wish to do so too so i have purchased a great Hitachi HD CCD mini camera which perfectly fits into the viewfinder. Question is do I need a lens for the CCD camera? or the lens/mirror in the viewfinder/camera is enough for a good framed picture? The other confusing question is that my Arri 16 BL has a 12pin Fischer output I believe that was for a speed controller. Could i use this output to power up my ccd camera using the right wiring and cable? Let's say if I know which oins on the Fischer connectors are the 12V and the ground...?
