Sachtler Ace M system with VariZoom Solo Jib

Recommended Posts

I'm wondering about which camera tripod and mini jib to get so after some research my final options are the Sachtler Ace M tripod system and the VariZoom Solo Jib. My big interrogative is if could use the jib with that tripod. I asked B&H and they told me the tripod just supports 4 kg, but in Sachtler website says the tripod legs supports 20 kg, they told me the brand's website is daunting... I don't know if I should believe them or just get the tripod and use it with the jib.

NOTE: My camera is the Blackmagic Pocket one with Rokinon lenses and my rig is not that big so it would be around 2.5 kg in total...

And also I have another big question... which spreaders are better? the mid-level or floor ones? I'd appreciate the advice since I'm just migrating from Manfrotto prosumer tripods and all this is new to me.

Thank you!
