The Lion -- Kabuki Short for Sharp 4K Contest

Hi all! I have been following this community for a few months now, and this is my first post.

I was recently the DP for a video we submitted for Sharp's Art of Amazing 4K contest. The film has been selected as a finalist in the contest, and will be screening at the Mill Valley Film festival on October 9th. This was my first time using the RED Epic--although I am familiar with the Scarlet--and the ARRI Ultra Prime lenses. It was also my first time to use the DJI Ronin, and I have to say, it was a lot of fun!

I'd love to know what you think and any constructive criticism, if you are so inclined. Thanks in advance for the feedback!

Nice first post Ryan! Great subject to shoot. Kabuki is so beautifull to watch. It was really well shot, lovely window reflections in the eyes.

Not criticism but more an observation, why did no one clean the stain on the back drop? Just drew my eye to it all the time.

Thank you, Kieran! I really appreciate the feedback. I completely agree about the white mark on the wood in the background. It's actually a big scuff/dent in the paneling, and we did our best to work around it, but it did make it into some of the shots. It may be something we try taking out digitally when there is a bit more time because it is quite distracting.

Thanks again for the reply. I'm looking forward to posting more and learning from everyone here.
