No, unless you're comparing a prime to a zoom lens. Since the zoom lens will be physically longer, the field of view will be slightly narrower (given the same tripod position) since the front of the lens is physically closer to the subject.

 

In practice, it won't make a difference unless you are doing an effects shot and trying to match a previous shot.
