Antonio Bunt
This may be an obvious question but is the difference between a 24 mm and a 25mm normal lens on regular 16mm film very striking?
Premium Member Satsuki Murashige Posted October 29, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted October 29, 2014 No, unless you're comparing a prime to a zoom lens. Since the zoom lens will be physically longer, the field of view will be slightly narrower (given the same tripod position) since the front of the lens is physically closer to the subject. In practice, it won't make a difference unless you are doing an effects shot and trying to match a previous shot.
