Arri-S to PL adapter

Hi everyone. I'm considering purchasing an ARRI SR II in the near future. My question: is there an adapter ring made for Arri standard mount lenses to fit the PL mount? I know there are Bayonet-to-PL adapters.

Hey,

I can give you the quick answers. Yes. The cheaper adapters come in an Arri-S version as well. You don't have the little square chanels that allow the bayonet wings, otherwise it's the same. Same problems too, with radial screws fixing it to the outside of the Arri-S mount. Some of the Arri-B ones have a screw ring at the back that is tightening against the bayonet (see VP's website). Arri made a really good one like that, sometimes seen used on eBay. It locks closed I think.
