Premium Member Bill DiPietra Posted December 4, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted December 4, 2014 I know this is the big question, but after directing and shooting my most recent short, I want to focus on lensing other people's projects. The main point is to gain more experience and to put together a reel. I'm looking for short independent projects, right now. I know the obvious people and places (friends, universities, etc.) to start with, but I was wondering if anyone had any other specific venues - online or in the real world - where they have had repeated success in obtaining work. Thanks.

Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted December 4, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted December 4, 2014 Stage32 is a newish one with some jobs, depending on area-- and though they ask for reels, reds, and kinos even for the free work, you may find something thereon. Also there are those 24/48/120 hour film races-- which I personally find rather silly, but if you can find out who is working on you can certainly get on. Applied to two jobs on there probably as you were posting this. ;)
