Joshua Kerr_67420
Hi All, I am currently shooting regular 16mm on a krasnogorsk k3 with an M42 mount and pentax primes. I would like to know what I should expect from a mini hypergonar 2x anamorphic with a 52mm rear thread in terms of vignetting. Bearing in mind that the resultant 2.66 aspect ratio will need some marginal cropping down to 2.39, what is the widest taking lens I could use? Olex Kalynychenko
The anamorphic lenses use for shooting of 35 mm movie. And can be use for 16 mm film shooting too. But, from practical side, the better to use of full finished cinema shooting anamorphic lenses, like russian 35 BAS. yes, of course, you can attach of any front anamorphic adapter. You can upgrade K-3 camera on Arri Pl lens mount and attach any cinema shooting anamorphic lenses with Pl mount. To visit of my web pages, can find a lot of information about anamorphic lenses. Mark Dunn
IIRC my Kowa 8Z with a 52mm. rear thread used to vignette at about 28mm. on APS-C digital, so assuming you are using longish lenses (longish for 16mm., that is) you may be alright.
