John Draus
Wondering if there is a recommended shutter angle or other tip for shooting PAL 50p at industrial locations in the US to avoid flicker from location fluorescents?
Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted March 24, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted March 24, 2015 You basically want to shoot with a 1/60th shutter time for 60 Hz flickering fixtures. At 25 fps, that would be a 150 degree shutter angle but hopefully your digital camera can be set to select shutter time instead of angle to make it easier.
