Simon Quintal
Hi everyone. I'm shooting a short character doc in Greenland in two weeks. I'll be on a ship/boat most of the time. My camera is C100 with atomos ninja star. Lenses are: Sigma 18-35 1.8 / Canon 24-70 F4 / Canon 70-200 2.8 and I have an old school Olympus 50mm 1.8. Do I need any special filters? And if so, which and what brand. Otherwise any suggestions are very much appreciated. Thank you :)
Premium Member Miguel Angel Posted June 15, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted June 15, 2015 Whenever I have a shoot on a boat I always bring with me the following things: - Clear filters (just in case) - Rain cover for the camera (you will really want that if you are on a small boat to cover your camera from the sea water) - One of those wristbands which allow you go on a boat without feeling dizzy (this one is very important for me, the very first time I worked on a boat.. well, you can imagine :D, since then, every single time that I have to work on one, I put my wristband on and I feel fab!) - Kemwipes - Towels - And my rain bag with different boots and etc. Have a good one and post it on here if you want to when it is finished! :)
Simon Quintal
Thank you Miguel, I'm not usually prone to sea sickness, but you are right. Two weeks is a long time feeling sick :) Thx for taking time to write.
