What is the current position of shooting anamorphic on the Alexa Mini? I understand the firmware is in beta testing at the moment but i'm not sure what my pros and cons would be at this stage. Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted March 4, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted March 4, 2016 I don't think there is much of a "current" position, the camera is too new -- if there is a beta version and people need to record 4x3 mode with anamorphic lenses, then I'm sure they are using it.
