Kodachrome 25 and Ektachrome 100D were probably the closest commercially available stocks. Pretty sure Kodachrome with BH perfs for motion picture cameras was only available in 16mm and various 8mm formats.

I thought someone (Spectra?) was offering Velvia 50 in 16mm for awhile, but the prices were very expensive. I was more of a Velvia 100F kinda guy anyway.

Large portions of "What Dreams May Come" 1998 were filmed with Velvia. I think the 50 ASA, I'd have to dig up the American Cinematogapher. I used to shoot 35mm Veliva 50 when I was shooting landscapes and nature photography in college, very cool film.

The Wikipedia claims that a lot of commercials were photographed with it, and it's replacement for cinematography was Fuji Eterna 160. But that's Wikipedia.
