Leica M Mount Lens Stuck in Adapter

Hello,

 

I have a Leica m-mount lens that I bought as part of some kind of attachment for a projector or enlarger. I don't know how to remove the lens from the adapter it's attached to, there doesn't seem to be a release button. Here are some pictures, can anyone help me?

Hard to tell from the dark photos, but there might be a lock ring holding the lens in the attachment, somewhere in the bottom left photo. I guess you've tried just unscrewing the lens, no visible set screws locking the thread?
