Ale Capo
Hi guys, I need a help with the breakdown of this setup. And what filter was used for the light blue/green sources outdoor? Thanks!
Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted December 5, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted December 5, 2016 There are any number of gels or combinations to get a blue-green color. You could use Cyan, you could use Steel Blue, you could put Plus Green on an HMI or combine it with CTB, etc.
Landon Hill
There is a source below the bookshelf and one above the desk to motivate the warm practical on the desk. Like David said, looks to be something like Steel Blue or Cyan which are some of my favorite gels. It also looks like the moonlight coming from camera left is inside the room, but backed up. Ale Capo
Thanks! I wanted to achieve a similar look than this. More precisely, I am inside a tent and I wanted to have an overall Cyan look in contrast with warm colors that are lighting the faces of the characters. If I put a Cyan filter on the lens, in order to neutralize the cyan color on the faces and get a warm look should I use yellow filter on the lights?
