I know that "Non reflex lenses on Bolex H16 reflex" has been discussed a lot, but some people say that the "soft" issue really depends on the lens, do you know if Zeiss Zf2 lenses (Nikon mount) will work great on a Bolex RX4 ? These are modern lenses and i've found no information about that combination. Will they work better than a Som Berthiot Cinor 10mm 1.9 and a Kern switar 10mm 1.6 ? Thank you all for your answer! So i asked Les Bosher and here is his answer : "The soft image issue is caused by using non reflex lenses on a reflex camera . Therefore you will have no problem as the adapter (the one he sells) is set correctly for the difference between the Nikon & ‘c’ mount Focal Depth. So according to him that should work flawlessly, but i still have a question, Zeiss ZF2 are designed for Full frame 35 , will they still be great on Standard 16mm or a Kern switar would be better?
