David Cunningham
Hi All, I had the original Eclair ACL Vision3 50D 7203 negative scanned at 4K on the LaserGraphics Director at Metropolis Post (MetroPost). Jack and his team do a fantastic job. Here's what you can do even as an experienced amateur with Vision3 50D, a Super16 converted ACL and a LaserGraphics Director 4K Scan. Be sure to watch 4K if you can: Note that there is no artificial sharpening or denoise/degrain. This is pretty much what the work print of this negative looks like with some minor differences in grading. The processing and one-light print from Fotokem was amazing! Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted February 14, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted February 14, 2017 If there is one thing Fotokem is good at, it's striking prints. They do amazing one light prints.
Julian Fletcher
Your footage looks great - may I ask what lens you are using on the Éclair?
David Cunningham
Your footage looks great - may I ask what lens you are using on the Éclair? Believe it or not just a cheap old 25mm Switar non RX lens... remarkably good lens for a cheap, old, not exactly high-end lens.
