2R-2994 vs 2R-3000 for old camera

I've got a question about those two standard.

Can they both be used in old 16mm 2R camera without trouble?

The 2R-3000, as i read, seem to be important for high speed camera.

But what about 8 to 64 fps camera ?

Completely irrelevant. The theoretical perforation pitch difference of 0.0006", in practice often a little less, can cause some more noise as the transport claw hits the hole edges. Short pitch perforation is intended for negative stocks to run directly on the sprocket drum of continuous contact printers, the full pitch perforation raw stock sitting outermost. A geometrical thing

 

High speed cameras typically run up to 500 frames per second intermittently and up to 10,000 or 32,000 fps continuously. The range of 8 through 64 is comparatively slow, no need for worry. Charge la pelloche et tourne!

Thanks for the anwser. I have think the same, but as i'm a newbie, i don't want some jam or other trouble with my old Bolex.
