Jacek Zagaja
Or do positive copy from Vision 50D - cost effective, imagine how long you can film from 400ft can. That's why Kodak should reactivate 2x8mm stock. Can be Kodachrome too? Jacek Zagaja
HD version of the film from 1939 - amazing quality, better than my recent 16mm! https://drive.google.com/open?id=0ByP8kkW_h00uRHdFelROYzBaWDg
David Cunningham
I hope E100D comes back at least as good as it was at the end... almost as good as Kodakchrome... almost... And hopefully Provia 100F will become available more regularly than a few test batches of Super 8 from Pro8mm/Retro8.
Anthony Schilling
Kodachrome was nice and stays nice, but I agree the latest look of 100D was suppurior. WhIle they overlapped as left overs and custom loads, K40 was looking bland and dark by comparison. Maybe Kodachrome stock and its processing weren't at its prime in the end either. Nor was it living up to its Kodachrome II predecessor. I'm all in foyer of Ektachrome coming back, I only hope they can improve the sharpness. Jacek Zagaja
You can make positive print out of Kodak Vision. It's cheap for Double8 film as labs charges 50cents for 16mm film. I think it will outperform slides. Will test soon.
