Justin Skrundz Share Posted June 12, 2017 Hello,I'm slightly confused about the door on my Arri 3. It has a spot for a video tap but I don't know what CCD cameras will fit it. It sort of looks like a bayonet style. I've found some online but I have no way of knowing if they'll mount. Anyone know where I could get one?
Gregg MacPherson Share Posted June 13, 2017 I have an original Arnold and Richter video tap for an Arri 3 door. It's quite bulky. There is a male thread about 35 or 36mm at the 2/3" sensor. Canon 4 pin power connector and BNC signal out. I didn't check if it's working yet.

Gregg MacPherson Share Posted June 16, 2017 I haven't used it myself. My guess is, yes B&W, probably PAL. I probably don't have the knowledge or resources to check it properly. I powered it up, held a lens in front and it sent a signal to an NTSC monitor, basically a rolling frame line. I don't have a PAL monitor at the moment. NZ is a PAL country and I'm guessng that this ex National Film Unit video tap is sending PAL. We can chat via email...viz(at)xtra.co.nz
