Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted June 26, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted June 26, 2017 So got an SR3 that worked fine, shipped it to a customer and now it doesn't. We're thinking something came loose in transit, but he is using a different power system then I'm using.Basically, the camera runs fine, but the display shows the image attached to this post. The Arri glow doesn't work and the 12v power output box isn't supplying power to the video tap. The best guess we have so far is that one of the fuses is blown. Any other ideas? Thanks! Premium Member Dom Jaeger Posted June 27, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted June 27, 2017 Not familiar with that error readout, the U on the bottom line is associated with a voltage reading in one of the modes, so could be a fault in the power circuit. Fuses are easy enough to check and replace, but shouldn't blow in transit, only if there was excessive draw or reverse polarity on the accessory socket or power input. Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted June 27, 2017 Author Premium Member Share Posted June 27, 2017 Thanks Dom. Do you think it's something straight forward? Outside of the fuses, where would you look next? The camera does run film normally however...
Premium Member Dom Jaeger Posted June 27, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted June 27, 2017 Back when I was working on SR3s I would hand this problem to the electronics tech.. :) The next place to look is the main board.. but electronics is not my area of expertise. Bryn McCashin
Did you ever find a solve to this? I’m having a similar issue on my SR3.
