Lenses for Panasonic GH5...native?

I was really interested in the Sigma 18-35 1.8 performance but I understand can be annoying to use it with a electronic adaptors. I was researching and asking to friends about some manual (or M43) lens to replace it but I can't find any choice. Do you know some alternative to this lens under 1200 USD?

Ohh the electronic adaptor just won't work. I've tried many and never got a single one to work properly. I got a few to power the iris, but not the focus. I got a few to power the focus, but not the iris. There are firmware/software updates that are suppose to fix those issues, but the GH5 is so new... it's a huge problem.

 

There are dozens of older still lenses that work totally fine that are all manual, mostly of the Nikon mount style. However, you won't get that speed in an older zoom without spending a lot of money.

And the thing with a NIkon lens which is a nice is you can make them EF Mount; which'll then work on numerous cameras.
