Daniel D. Teoli Jr.
YouTube left it up for a few months, then last night removed it and banned me again. Do you think Vimeo will accept it? So far Vimeo has had no issues with nudes I've put up, but this film has explicit content. 'Prescription for Love' nsfw https://archive.org/search.php?query=Prescription%20For%20Love%20D.%20D.%20Teoli%20Jr.%20A.%20C. This is a historical 16mm vintage sound stag film containing explicit content that was rescued from the trash after being water damaged from a Florida hurricane. The film was extremely dirty and had to be cleaned 5 times before I had it 2K HD scanned. Synopsis of film: A young newlywed couple is having intercourse difficulties. They visit the doctors office and the doctor and office receptionist teach them about lovemaking. According to the code on the film stock it dates from either 1931 or 1951. As a very rough estimate, only 4% to 6% of the stag films from the 1920's to 1950's had sound. Edited March 7, 2018 by Daniel D. Teoli Jr.
Premium Member Mark Kenfield Posted March 7, 2018 Premium Member Share Posted March 7, 2018 It certainly sounds like it has some historical value, but just because it's old doesn't mean it's no longer pornography. There are places to host such things, but I hardly think conventional streaming sites (that are accessible to all ages) are an appropriate place. So I'm sure it'll get pulled from Vimeo just as it was from Youtube. Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted March 7, 2018 Premium Member Share Posted March 7, 2018 I believe Vimeo has a "mature" setting on the upload. I haven't watched the videos but it will probably take mostly everything, so long as you mark mature on it. However, if people flag it, people flag it. There isn't much to do about that aside from having your own web-server and hosting it yourself.
Reggie A Brown
It should be fine on vimeo. There's a lot of naked art/video groups on vimeo. One in particular called Art of Nakedness that has some pretty raunchy stuff on there. It's visual art and thankfully vimeo don't discriminate. Landon D. Parks
Hosting such content on public sites will always lead to the chances of it being removed.Try Dailymotion - they seem to have no filter whatsoever. If they police the porn like the do the copyright infringers, you'll be fine. Edited March 7, 2018 by Landon D. Parks

I shut the computer down as quick as I could, but no matter what I tried my computer was ruined. Luckily for me I use old laptops for most of the web work. Jesus, what a life nowadays...huh? But sooner or later people are offended by this or that. Don't have the $ to make my own video website. Nor would I want to. Once you stop paying the bill your website goes poof! While YouTube and Vimeo may not be round for ever, at least they offer some degree on continuity.

China or Russia needs to make a US uncensored video hoster...but we would prob get viruses! Of course, in their own counties things would be censored like hell. Edited March 12, 2018 by Daniel D. Thanks, Well, maybe I will write then and ask or give it a try and just see. I normally don't mind testing, but if Vimeo and YT both ban me I'm sunk.
