Brian Drysdale
Canon have brought out a full frame C700. Seemingly, the original C700 can be upgraded to the full-frame for a fee https://www.provideocoalition.com/canon-announces-the-c700-full-frame-digital-camera/ https://www.redsharknews.com/production/item/5364-eos-c700-ff-canon-s-giant-leap-into-full-frame,-6k-cinematography https://www.cinema5d.com/canon-goes-full-frame-canon-eos-c700-ff-5-9k-announced/
Samuel Berger
I wonder if people who can afford that would actually buy it. That's Alexa money right there...
Phil Connolly
I wonder if people who can afford that would actually buy it. That's Alexa money right there... Looks intriguing.. on paper it has better then Alexa LF specs for 1/3 the price I'm actually more excited about the 20mm cine prime - we've got the 24,50,85 set at work and it really needs something at the wider end. I tested the 14mm and its too extreme. They are a great range of lenses shame cannon has been so slow to release many focal lengths

Samuel Berger
You'll never really see the true power of a camera by looking at the images—they all look the same after post (especially within a brand's own range). To showcase the power of the C700FF you probably want to make a 'camera walk around' on set and show the crew the most important design features that will help them save time and be more consistent between cameras. Same with post: explain what production features will streamline post production to deliver consistent results, faster. Then what is the point of different cameras existing?
