AnthonyMcPherson Posted April 1, 2018 Share Posted April 1, 2018 Hi, I'm traveling to South Korea for possibly 2 years & was curious to know if anyone has had any experience working overseas in an Asian country. Was the language barrier an issue when finding work? Would foreign production companies be willing to hire foreign cinematographers? Any general advice? Robin R Probyn Posted April 2, 2018 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Very little English spoken in Korea .. you're better bet is to set yourself up as an English speaking DoP who lives in Korea,for over seas productions coming in to shoot there.. but yes you might as well check out local production too, you could get lucky..
