Isn't that a 6-light minibrute or Dino?

Or even a very old Cooper-Hewitt mercury lamp, since they didn't care about location sound, in which case you're half-right about the fluorescent. Not sure how the colour temperature would work out. though.

I searched from your hint, it seems really a 6-light Mini Brute:

On the set image, from that angle, the way the light falls on the back of the unit
makes it look as being very flat. :)
