c300MK II Exposure

Shooting a short mostly outdoors. Looking for some tips on c300 MK II exposure. I am used to Alexa/Sony Workflow have heard I need to protect highlights more. Do people suggest Clog2 or 3.

Make sure you have the latest firmware and turn off noise reduction. With it on you get horrible ghosting from the temporal noise reduction algorithm. Avoid shooting silhouettes too harshly as you'll get green/magenta bands in the shadows which move depending on the scene (so not a black shading issue).

CLog 2 has a limiter on it,and will not reach 100 IRE for highlights.👍

You can see on your waveform.Highlights protected!

I was told by the higher ups,to stay in Clog2.
