Gimbal for Bolex H16

Recommended Posts

You may find any non-bowl type tripod limiting for film. You have to adjust all three legs separately to get the head level. There may be a bowl adapter for that tripod. But the weight capacity is far more than you need. Something much lighter would probably suffice- an H16 only weighs a few pounds.

What tripod would you recommend? I wanted to be on the safe side because I have a rex-5 which is about 6 pounds and a vario switar which is around 2 and a half.
