Daniel Echecopar
Hello, I recently bought a godox sl-60 light and a softbox, and now I would like to experiment with colors. So I'm wondering how to attach some gels: in front or inside of the softbox. I'm thinking that: If it's in front I would need really big sheets to cover all, maybe a bunch of small ones to make a bigger one? If it's inside (separated, lets say, 4 inches from the chip), it seems to block the airflow from the cooler devise inside the light, I could damage it? Let me know please if I was clear. I'll attach a picture of what I mean by inside (this photo is for a flash light, it doesn't get hot, so it doesn't clear my questions) Thanks! Bob Hobbs
Inside the softbox is where you want it. You might burn it over time..I've seen some LED's closer to 200w melt pretty quick. The fan/cooler devise isn't in harm, just a burnt gel or two.
