panagiotis agapitou
Hello I have found these infos on a Daily Continuity report : Set Up: 18mm ShInf-50' T1.4 Lens Ht: N/K Is a night exterior crane shot showing a car on city street .. it's on 35mm film and the lens probably a Zeiss super speed mkii I guess it has to do with the 'focus on infinity' ? Also what does the 'N/K' mean ?? Thanks !!! Edited October 25, 2018 by panagiotis agapitou

Mark Dunn
Well, the 18 has marks at 30' and infinity, so it's hard to say. Maybe 50' is the distance on the tape, so the lens is set between 30' and infinity, but I wouldn't be at all surprise if Kubrick had Smith put custom marks on his lenses after exhaustive testing. N/K is probably for "not known". Edited October 27, 2018 by Mark Dunn
Stuart Brereton
I'd guess and say it's an 18mm focused at short infinity (50ft in this instance) Lens Height unknown. Unknown probably because it varied throughout the shot.
