Henry Cline
Just wondering how people accommodate shutter angle in movie mode on the A7? There is not 180 setting (that I have seen) and with a recommended ISO of 800 for Slog, is there any adjustments that I can make before I start piling ND's on in order to keep my aperture relatively wide? Thanks, Henry
Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted January 16, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted January 16, 2019 For 24 fps / 180 you’d pick whatever is closest to 1/48.

Robin R Probyn
As your in the US .. even at 24p.. if you want to avoid flicker from practicals like fluorescent lights.. 1/60th would be a good choice.. as its divisible by the mains 60Hz..visually no one will any difference between 1/48th and 1/60th.. but everyone and their aunt will notice flicker .. in a studio with controlled lighting/ out in the desert etc.. of course it doesn't apply.. I would definitely get the ND,s what ever you do anyway.. carful stacking them that you don't get vignetting .. check the corners !..
