how to upload/share images in these forums

Hello. Are there guidelines somewhere to adding images to a post? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm having trouble figuring the best method and what parameters need to be followed to do this optimally.

Hit "more reply options" at the bottom of the page.

 

Hit "choose file" under "attach files." Select the file you want from your computer.

 

Hit "attach this file."

 

Put the cursor where you want the image in your post.

 

Hit "Attach to post."

 

Works best with reasonably small images say 800px wide or under.

You can also use the function if you have a URL address for where an image is stored.
