Safe way to have a fire inside

Recommended Posts

Hello...i am filming a performance, something where the action needs to be live and at some point i need to have an actor carry a burning torch, but inside and i wondered if anyone had done this before and had any advice? The building is an old metal factory with high ceilings that are made from..asbestos. but they are 4 metres high and i am hoping it might be ok?

Asbestos?  Don't shoot there period.

Was it Tarkovsky who willingly shot in a radioactive area and died from cancer shortly after?
