Giray Izcan
So I would like to share this raw footage from my recent travel to MN. Most of this footage will be incorporated into two different projects as cutaways etc. I just applied Kodak 2883 print film lut as I enjoy photochemical finish. hope you enjoy. https://vimeo.com/347396244 Edited July 11, 2019 by Giray Izcan
Bob Speziale
I only watched the first minute and a half. It was mostly fuzzy and out of focus. Is that intentional, eg. dream sequences or someone who is drugged?
Giray Izcan
It was intentional. I went for texture and played with focus selectively. In the beginning of the clip, the idea with playing with focus was to accentuate the grittiness and also the claustrophobia of the the place. I shot quite a bit of stuff through dirty windows etc as well.
Jon O'Brien
I was interested watching most of it. Nice light you chose to shoot in. Film seems to have a way of creating something slightly more artistic more intrinsically than digital. Digital seems to be often simply matter of fact, where as film adds an arty filter effect or something. To me, anyway. A friend at work asked me recently, "What is art?" Good question. Something that looks more cool than other stuff?
