Shooting Super 16 on a very hot day

I have shoot this week where I'll be out all day without access to a camera car or a refrigerator (anything where I can safely stash my exposed film cans).  My question is, if I have a black tote bag and keep it in the shade, will the film be ok for the day until I arrive home to stock it in the freezer?  Thank you for the help!

Not much to worry about. I mean yes, if you had a magazine that was out in the sun for a day, it may be good to not do that? However, with film you're shooting so many rolls in a given day, the amount of time a single roll is out in the sun, is pretty limited.

Also, I would not freeze exposed film. Process immediately.

we used to put them in cool boxes .. like for beer on a picnic ..  those insulated ones.. you can put ice packs in the side inserts.. but yes as Tyler says .. dont try and freeze the film !  but I wouldn't worry too much unless your getting to 40C +  locations ..
