Premium Member Uli Meyer Posted October 3, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted October 3, 2019 When I shot this 120fps 3perf test, an "ASY" warning appeared in the viewfinder of my Arriflex 435 Advanced. This indicates that the frame rate was not constant. I loaded a 400ft magazine with 200 feet of Vision 3 200T for the test, so the magazine was only loaded half. Could that be the cause for the warning? I'm happy with the result but curious what triggered it.
Premium Member Dom Jaeger Posted October 3, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted October 3, 2019 High frame rates draw a lot of current, could be the battery voltage dipped a bit and the frame rate fluctuated slightly. At 130 fps you need more than 24V, so you were at the boundary.

Premium Member Dom Jaeger Posted October 3, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted October 3, 2019 I don’t think that would cause a frame rate fluctuation, no.
