Daniel D. Teoli Jr.
I was going through a lot of 70+ reels of audio tape. Most of them had plastic end clips on them. The clips were used to keep the end of the tape from unraveling. We had the same thing with film. Although the film clips were thin metal and the film is a lot tougher than audio tape. Roughly 30% of the tape with end clips had damage to the tape.
